The best exercise you're not doing right

The squat, specifically the barbell back squat, is known as the "king" of all exercises—and for a good reason. No exercise builds the legs, stabilizes the core, and boosts your strength and metabolism like the back squat.

The issue is that many women are too afraid to approach this exercise altogether, opting for inferior substitutes to build lean legs. Others who have attempted the back squat have found it to be too awkward or uncomfortable to continue.


I felt the same way when I started back squatting. I was so afraid that I avoided it for the first two years of lifting weights! Once I started, I was horrible at it!


Many people forget that exercises are skills. You're not supposed to get them right away. It takes practice and training—that's what makes them fun! Now, the barbell back squat is a staple exercise in my routine, and I've gotten strong, lean legs.
