You need to hear this

What do you want your life to look like tomorrow? Next week? Next year? In the next decade? To make any improvements, you need to start taking action today.


I am a super impatient person. I hate waiting for anything. And when it comes to health and fitness, you typically have to do a lot of waiting to see results. But what's the alternative - not doing anything at all? Then you're sure to get nowhere!



Even though starting on day one might feel pointless and intimidating, just remind yourself that whatever you do today dictates your tomorrow, and so on. When the fat loss journey feels endless because you didn't lose 5 pounds in two weeks, still stick to your (hopefully sustainable) plan today. When you don't feel like going to the gym because you don't feel stronger yet, still go today. When you don't feel like eating healthy today because it just feels too hard and it feels pointless, still eat healthy today. When you don't feel like going to sleep and turning your phone off tonight because endless scrolling has got you addicted, choose to put your phone down and turn the light off today.


Before you know it, today becomes the day you have been waiting for. And by then, these healthy lifestyle choices should've become habits, making it easier to choose to do the right thing today, forever.


This is not to say that you need to be perfect. Sick days will happen. You will overeat. You will be too busy to get to sleep when you want to. That's life. What matters is the choice that you make today, to do your best in the circumstances you're experiencing.
